Broadway Technologies is Certified to sell, service, and certify Honeywell Distributed Antenna Systems. Distributed Antenna Systems are almost always required as part of local and state building codes when larger buildings are built. Distributed Antenna Systems are installed to ensure Law Enforcement and First Repsonders are able to safely communicate within larger structures. Distributed Antenna Systems may also be installed for cellular networks and for traditional two way radio systems.
Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES) are life safety tools designed to ensure unimpeded communication within a structure in an emergency. Antennas are placed throughout the building and on the roof to ensure good radio penetration through concrete, steel, and UV rated glass. These sytems must be installed by certified installers and recertified every five years. Is Broadwaytwoway.com approved to recertifiy ERCES Equipment anywhere in the United States? Yes. We carry all the required certifications to install, inspect, and recertify ERCES equipment. Our process starts with having a conversastion with your local Juristiction to ensure we provide all the documentation required for your building.
Are Distributed Antenna Systems required by Code? This depends on State and Local Codes where you're located. If DAS is required, we can help. Check with your AHJ ( Authority Having Juristiction) for local requirements. Your AHJ may be the local Building Codes Office or the local Fire Marshal.
Does DAS work for Cellular Phones? Yes, we provide Cellular DAS products to help get coverage inside of your structure.
Which Manufacturers do you represent? We are certified to sell Fiplex by Honeywell which is our preferred offering. We can install, certify, and recertify any ERCES system you currently have.
What does recertify mean? Buildings required to have ERCES systems are required to recertify the devices every five years to ensure they're still working effectively. Broadwaytwoway.com uses best in class equipment to handle the recertification for you. You need not have purchased your ERCES system from us for us to manage the recertfication.
